Albert Ammons: Boogie Woogie Classics

Original Blue Note Lexington pressing from 1951!! Record looks G to G+ with all kinds of marks, scuffs and lines, but there still is nothing really feelable with fingers. It has a constant backround noise and crackle, but it really does not overpower the music… It’s a loud and nice pressing and sounds more like VG. Cover looks very nice with some wear to the edges and corners and the name of this record has been circled on the back where there is a Blue Note release catalog.

Blue/white label with “Lexington address” and “Ear” in dead wax. List of releases on back goes up to BLP 7030. Repress from 1955 or later including booklet “the blue note story”.
