This stereo Tone Poet Vinyl Edition was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray (Cohearent Audio) from the original analog master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at Record Technology Inc. (RTI), and packaged in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket.

From a reply in the Discogs Reviews section, Joe Harley confirmed the noise on track B1 “Guys, that’s very likely a faulty guitar cord on Grant. We heard it at mastering and it’s on the master. Grant seemed to fix it pretty quickly though, maybe by twisting the plug a bit to clean it. I’ve seen elec guitarists do that.”
