ALTERNATE are complete performances of the same tunes issued later. Irregular procedures and sloppy bookeeping resulted in a large number of alternate takes being labelled as master during the LP era. These alternates will be noted in the listings as “LP” takes.
INCOMPLETE take which contains some improvisation by Bird.

Tracks 3-5 to 3-8 and 4-15 to 4-16 were recently discovered at the time of this release.
Thelonius Monk’s credit is incorrectly written as Bass instead of Piano on the release.
