Backstory >> Tomi Leppänen says:
A while ago I was reading an interview of the composer Michael Nyman from the Apartamento Magazine. In the interview he mentioned that he casually “invented, but not deliberately” the term ‘minimal-music’ in 1968, when writing a review of the performance by Charlotte Moorman & Nam June Paik at the ICA London. I tracked down the original review from The Spectator magazine, and here’s the result. Released in celebration of Minimal music.
