Recorded at Estudios Som Livre in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil on the 8th, 9th, 10th and 13th of April 1985. “Make The River Flow” was recorded at Sonet Studios in Stockholm on the 15th of March, 1985.
The album makes part of a trilogy named “Rendez-Vous In Rio”: as stated on leaflet, “Toots Thielemans, SylviaVrethammar and Sivuca met in Rio de Janeiro to record three albums and a TV video documentary. The other two albums are [r4968994] and [m392051]”.
